Lovvorn Construction was founded in 1996, but our history dates back 40 years and 4 generations of family general contractors. Our company is currently under the leadership of Wesley Lovvorn and we are growing quickly in several different markets and project types with a focus on ground up construction. We are proud to have served as general contractor and built exceptional projects for well-known brands like Dunkin’ Donuts, Naan Stop, Kennesaw State University, Die-Tech Industries, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Cherokee County and Honda.
We specialize in commercial construction and have been busy in both public and private sector work in a variety of markets. We excel in delivering high quality services for ground up construction, renovation work and tenant build-outs. By taking a proactive approach and getting involved early on in the planning phase of a project,we are able to serve as a helpful resource in calculating realistic budgets before construction documents are even prepared. Management Plan
At Lovvorn Construction we’ve developed a reliable sub-contractor selection process and project management system, designed to reduce the total cost of construction while maintaining high levels of craftsmanship and on-time project delivery. In other words, our clients receive exceptional value for their investment, without compromising schedule or quality. We are committed to taking 100% responsibility and accountability of project concerns from Pre-Construction through Close Out, always being mindful of your budget. From the start of the project an RFI log will be established. All RFI’s will be reviewed by Lovvorn personnel prior to forwarding to the owner and A/E for response, followed by subcontractors that are affected.

Our Subcontractor Management Plan starts out before the signing of the owner contract, making sure that our subcontractors are committed to a team approach.

- Partner with subcontractors that are best fit for your project
- Set up a RFI log to track requests for pricing for each subcontractor
- Our standard Subcontract Agreement must be signed and completed before project starts
- Ensure all channels of communication are clearly defined and weekly progress reports completed
- A Statement of Work has subcontractors take responsibility for their deliverables
- Each subcontractor will have a single point of contact to improve quality and make sure they are on track with the CPM schedule and proposed budget
